Speakers’ Biography
Rick Fesciuc is Director of Technology Solutions at ISC (Information Services Corp is a provincial Crown corporation responsible for land titles, vital statistics, survey, personal property and corporate registries, as well as related geographic information) .
Rick provides strategic and operational leadership of the technology function in support of the Corporation’s vision and goals. Rick is responsible for leading the Information Technology (IT) organization in planning, designing, implementing and maintaining needed information systems as well as assembling the required underlying technology and operating infrastructure.
With over 25 years in IT, Rick joined ISC after fulfilling a number of planning and architecture positions in the private sector with McNair Business Development and in the public sector with SaskTel.
John Hill has 22 years with SaskTel, beginning his career as a summer student apprentice lineman and later working in a variety of positions. He has held various senior management roles within Network Systems, Information Technology, Mobility and SaskTel’s Expansion Division. John provides direction in all technology related issues in support of Information Operations, leads the Corporate Project Management Office and is Chair of the CDC.
Currently John serves as president on the board of the Regina Optimist Dolphin Swim Club and as well serves on Committees of Crown Chief Information Officer Council and sits on the Advisory Committee ofthe Council of Chief Information Officers’ for the Conference Board of Canada. John has his BScEE, P.Eng, from the U of S.
Paul MacDonald, a member of FCC’s Executive Committee, is responsible for Information Technology and Enterprise Architecture at FCC. Since assuming responsibility for the Information Technology function in 2004, Paul has led the transformation of FCC’s IT organization through the introduction of a wide range of new enabling information technologies, services and processes to innovate how FCC delivers services and products to its customers. Today, FCC is at the leading edge of IT best practices.
Paul has been with FCC since 2001 and has held prior senior management roles in operations, most recently as VP, Alliances and Business Services. He has an M.A. (Economics) from Queen’s University and a B.Sc. from the University of P.E.I.
